When The Workspace Group approached me to create a book marking their 40-year history, I knew it was going to be a special project. Starting from their first steps in 1985, the book captures the story of a group that has made a real difference in the community.
Author Michael McGlade had already gathered incredible stories from employees, local businesses, and community groups — showing just how much of an impact Workspace has had over the years.
Bringing all of that into a cohesive, celebratory book was an interesting and rewarding challenge and the final result was more than worth it.

Getting Personal
This project had a personal significance for me. Back in 2010, Workspace helped me get my business off the ground through their ‘Go for It’ programme, and the following year I completed the ‘Steps to Work’ programme, officially launching Blurbox Media and Design. I still rent office space from their units on Rainey Street, Magherafelt, so their support continues to be a part of my journey.
